Khabib TKO from ground and pound.
Gaethje will not quit or give his back to allow a choke ala McTapper.
Also everyone who thinks Gaethje's striking is significantly better than Khabib's is going to be surprised at Khabib out striking Justin.

Also what the fuck is with this early card? Why are the other cards on Fight Island still regular US times but this one isn't?
Not that the PPV buys are going to need any help, but I can only see this hurting it. Although I guess I'm not really considering other parts of the world

I think either Khabib taps him or Gaethje knocks him out. Leaning Justin at the moment. Tough matchup, rough weight cut, and the emotional toll of his dad dying recently just seems like a lot to overcome. I thought it was going to be Khabib’s toughest fight to date even before the other circumstances.

I don't think Justin taps – more likely to get pummeled half to hell, I think. If Khabib wins, he's going to win via TKO (referee/corner stoppage) or a five round mauling/decision.
I'm leaning toward Justin winning too, though. I think his approach is aggressive enough, and he crazy enough, to maintain the type of pressure needed to bust Khabib up. I think he has the skill to hurt Khabib somewhere in those first two rounds – and if Justin can push this fight into those later three rounds? With a hurt and/or depleted Khabib? I don't know. It's like Khabib has to trust Justin won't be there, ready to fire off combos and kicks and punches (mean ones), in the third, fourth, and fifth.
And I think everyone here absolutely trusts Justin to be dangerous in those last three rounds, so.
Might be looking at a Gaethje win via decision or mid-4th-to-5th-round stoppage via TKO. Justin's willingness to wreck shit, health be damned and the sincerity to go with it, may be his biggest assett in this particular fight against Khabib.
Would love to see a Nurmagomedov win though. His haters are almost as much fun as St. Pierre's.

To me, it looked like Khabib was on weight. Official did not wait long enough to clear scale but rising rate of bar was slowing. I believe it would have touched the top then came to rest just below the top which puts Khabib on weight.
