I don't want to clutter the Election 2020 thread with conspiracies but I find these stories fascinating and wanted a place to discuss them.

The most recent claim that I know of:

Whistleblowers: Postal Service labeled Trump mail ‘Undeliverable,’ 388,000 ballots backdated, ‘disappear’

Several whistleblowers on Tuesday cast new uncertainty on the 2020 election process, claiming up to 288,000 ballots disappeared, another 100,000 were improperly backdated, and mail promoting President Trump was junked while mail for Joe Biden was delivered.

Is anyone else following these? I love the ones that use tricks rather than just make up data, like the video I posted about election count data.

I truly believe understanding misinformation and navigating it is our greatest challenge as a society, perhaps even over the climate. And I don't get it at all.

Who is there to supervise the counting of votes?
The people there, and the video watching them.

There's no way those counting votes don't know they're being filmed.

There could be any number of reasons why ballots are kept under a table.

Also, do we know for sure, based on the video, that what they pulled out from under the table were, in fact, ballots?

That video seems to create more unnecessary questions than anything else.

Also, poll watchers or observers, are not required by law in GA. There are laws governing their presence IF they are there, but they don't need to be there.

If the election was indeed rigged, I would actually care, if it were not for the '00 and '04 elections. It's the same shit happening again. Issues with recounts. Issues with mail-in ballots. Issues with potential voter fraud. The governments (State and Federal,) have had 6-10 years to fix the issues, that are clearly going to continue every 2-4 years. They'd rather just blame the other political party when their party loses, instead of working together to fix it. Seriously, if it's proven that this election was messed with, they won't make changes ahead of the next one.

Hard to say. The Murdochs worship money and influence above all things, so the potential loss of viewers to the further right channels will concern them, but are probably prepared to wait and see if its a temporary phenomenon. I think they'll defintely start catering to both the lunatic and sensible elements of their Conservative audience. Like, "Trump was definitely robbed, but we have more on the orderly transition of power to Biden at 11".

Let's be honest, it's not like they have to worry overly about cognitive dissonance in their viewers.

Yeah I agree if Fox were prepared to cut the loonies loose and be an unashamedly Conservative leaning news source but steered clear of the MAGA cult/Qanon stuff that would actually be a win for the US. Not sure how likely that is.

As for the cognitive dissonance yes it was the Trump wuz robbed! /Biden won let's move on schools of thought. I can see Fox having certain hosts pander to the Trumpers while the rest of the network goes down a more moderate route.

But for the Trumpers themselves? Yeah I don't know how violent it will get but the potential is there.

To be clear, I'm not posting things here because I believe them. That said, I did subsequently state that I thought this one had legs. My thought was NOT that it was actual rigging, rather a technical violation that they worked late after the oversight left. But someone here corrected me that it's not required in GA.
