You have to put him at #3 without a doubt, he still has a way to go for the second spot IMO.

You can't make a poll today and not have people pick the flavor of the day.

LMAO Big Pig isn't even mentioned, forgot about him already eh.

And of course we don’t see the quote where he goes out of his way — in multiple interviews, mind you — to prop up GSP’s resume and explain why GSP is the WW GOAT right now. That doesn’t generate enough clicks. Nobody has time for a gracious champion in this “sport.”

Woodley admits that he was enticed by the idea of fighting someone of St-Pierre’s caliber, but he somehow feels that the desire is not mutual.

“It’s always appealed to me, but I’m not gonna keep calling out a guy that’s already had nine title defenses, ran over the division. He stepped away from the sport, he came back, he made it very obvious that he wanted to fight certain types of fights and it didn’t look like he wanted to fight me.”

I think he ranks 3rd right now, but he's got a big hill to climb to get passed 2nd. In reality, at his age he'd have to fight a whole lot to get anywhere near GSP and who else is he going to fight?

He needs to step away from that goal and maybe look at moving up. I think he'd be a wrecking machine at MW. combining the two weight classes with monster runs at mw could get him closer to a 'best ever' title, but it's a tough road either way.

I don't know man, this seems like a really premature conversation

and beating GSP now wouldn't do shit. he's not the GSP that was here 5 years ago.

    That’s not the quote.

Honestly, I dislike him for nothing more than everyone crying about people not liking him.

Totally reasonable quote. The only reason that I don't get as excited for Tyron is all the drama around him is exhausting. Same with Conor. Takes a lot of the sport excitement out of it for me. I don't watch reality TV; probably need to stay away from some of the sillier MMA news too.

What I'm saying is, I blame @Sakara=Excitement for taking time out of his day to post all this news. Shame on you, sir :)

The only thing that would make that better is if Dana were wearing a M.A.G.A. hat.

He defends the title a couple more times than he's unquestionably the 2nd greatest WW of all time, could make an argument for it already, but he's certainly more talented than Matt Hughes ever was.

I already have him #2. If Gastelum takes out Whittaker the resumes won’t even be close.

Who on Woodley's resume trumps beating BJ and GSP?

None, the closest would be Robbie. But he's the flavor of the day so he's the best ever.

As being more talented then Matt was, well fucking duh it was years ago.

Ali wouldn't stand up to the Klitschko brothers doesn't mean he wasn't great for his time.

BJ and GSP beat Hughes’ ass every time they faced him, though. He got slaughtered the four times he lost to them.

So passive aggressive. Go wipe your tears. The longest current reigning champ in the UFC isn’t a “flavor of the day.” The dude he just thrashed on Saturday on the other hand...
