I believe the CIA and NSA are doing their best to oust Trump. Good relations with Russia is not their goal. Proxy wars rather than diplomacy seems to be the interest of the deep state. Perpetual war keeps budgets robust and miltary tech at top status in tge world.

Does Trump have ties? I do not know.

I am just happy there is a change from the norm with Clinton.

If Trump fucks up real bad, it might cause America to find better options for POTUS in the future via cause and effect. This is a positive. Negative change creates positive change over time eventually.

A China-Russia power prism is not good for the West. It seems to be what the world is heading towards as they warm closer together.

I disagree. I think he's positioning himself to be seen as a more competent, professional alternative.

@jokerthief - so if the Steele dossier is legit, then Putin offered Trump a 19% stake in Rosneft in exchange for lifting sanctions. Thats a 10B EUR deal.

I thought that was the most explosive claim and it got overshadowed by some of the more salacious stuff in the dossier. But if true, then the POTUS straight up took a bribe from a foreign power.

We know that a 19.5% share of Rosneft was sold in December 16 to parties unknown (trail terminates in the Caymans). Sanctions not lifted yet though.

I'm scared. Are we better off with Trump ousted, or would the fallout/consequences of that far outweigh the damage he'd likely do with a full term as president?

Because I have a hard time not rooting against him, but as an American I wouldn't want to see that mockery of the political system (or display it to the world). Don't really care if he did it, because I never trusted in his integrity and wasn't comfortable with the whole prominent/shady Businessman-President conflict of interests in the first place. I expected nothing less from the man, except maybe to not get caught so fast. That's kind of embarrassing, eh? Isn't that supposed to be like the one thing he's good at?

    President Pence. Lol.

    I prefer the parliamentary system where a non-confidence vote forces a re-election.

LOL Jill Stein's name is in the list of contacts of interest on the second page. It's the closest she's ever been to relevance.
