I’ve never noticed it but everyone’s palate is different. It Could be worth using two glasses to see if you notice a difference. You will notice the texture change though (at least i did).

Toppling Goliath Fire, skulls, and money

This beer was amazing but at 6.5% I didn’t like the 18 dollar price tag for 4 of them.

Delicious Belgian beer, get amoungst it, 6.6% so good strength, beautifully smooth, almost citric but not quite sour aftertaste. Luverly!

Having a couple before heading off to my work Christmas function, the pricks always hold it on a weekday (it’s Monday here) so it reduces the drinks bill as we all have work tomorrow, but I’m in my last week, got a new job starting in January, so I’m getting Stinko!

Could you make a 43 year FG?

    Shit, I know I probably couldn't.

I haven't tried to kick a field goal since I was like 13.

I mean, shit happens haha. I've got a chance in that Dumb and Dumber so you're telling me there's a chance kind of chance. I think the longest I've ever kicked successfully was 25 yards? I think if I had 3 chances I could do 25 yards.

I imagine they're going to charge for per attempt. If every attempt was free, they would have a line down the block.

I was thinking the same thing with the charges per attempt.

Plus if you did hit it, what do you think you'd get, like a case a beer per month or something?

Probably something like that. 24 gift certificates for a free 12 pack of their 312 or IPA, good at all Jewl Oscos in the Chicagoland area.

This is well worth the price. I'm not a big stout drinker, mostly because of the sweetness and how filling they are. I'd take one of these any day though.

BCS is amazing it is the standard in which all other Bourbon Barrel Aged stouts are measured. I have one in the fridge and 2 other 2018s sitting on the dresser for future consumption.

If you have the restraint get one and sit on it for a year and drink it next to a 2019 not only will you get thoroughly drunk, you'll notice the beer changes in the bottle as it sits for the year.

It conditions in the bottle and lets the flavors blend together more so, creating a slightly different profile. Also if you let it warm as you drink it to about 50-60 degrees you will notice the flavors become more pronounced.

It's a very complex beer overall.

I've known people who let them age 4-5 years in the bottle and to be honest I feel the beer will start to drop off after year two of aging. One year aged in the bottle imo is the sweet spot for this style of beer.

Nope I kept it in a crawl space at my old place (divorce is a bitch) where I'm staying now is in my bedroom on the dresser for the time being until the old house sells and I buy myself another in the fall of next year.

Most people just keep them in a box or a low light area in a basement or out of the way area with little to no light typically
