I really like watching Jalen Rose.

The Rockets are pushing hard for Jimmy Butler.

I don’t think that works for them. Wasn’t there already a bunch of tension betweenness Paul and Harden? And then you’re gonna add Butler who can be precocious himself?

I’ll say this as nice as I possibly can, fuck Skip Bayless. He’s the absolute worst thing to happen to sports television since Kenny Rice and Ron Kruck.

I like Skip. One of the very few unbiased voices out there.

I don’t understand something. The Warriors can sign Kevin Durant to a super max contract but if he leaves, they don’t have cap space to replace him. They can sign and trade him and that would give them 35 million dollars in cap space. How is that?

@Ninjastix - on your wondering about KD’s leg injury and how the team dealt with it- I just read an article where Iggy said that the team called his fractured leg in last years playoffs a bone bruise. He also said he was pressured by his teammates, family, and friends to come back and help the team.

Doesn't that have to do with the hold teams place on players?

Yeah and I think Iggy attempted to walk back those comments as well. There's no doubt KD wanted to be out there but my reservations about the whole situation concern the athletic trainers. Because a doctor is just evaluating the injury. The athletic trainers should know how the injury could impact the player's body mechanics. If it were the regular season KD's return would have been handled differently to mitigate the risk of re-injury. That's the core of it for me.

Did the athletic team for Golden State act in the best interest of the athlete or did they have a mandate to get him back on the court? Iggy's initial comments seem to indicate that there's warranted suspicion.

My position is still one of ignorance. I haven't heard athletic trainers speak on the subject. Would compensatory body mechanics put additional strain on the heel if the calf were compromised? No fucking idea. I did watch a breakdown on calf injuries and like most things, it's not exactly straight forward. It's a compound muscle and there are various layers at which a tear or sprain can occur.

Personally I do not believe the athletic staff had KD's best interests in mind.

Best fit for Kyrie would be LA imo. LeBron has to turn the keys over to Kyrie and AD however then, bizarrely, he'd actually become Magic Johnson. He could average a triple double scoring less than 15 ppg and extending his career.

I cannot see Kawhi on the Laker with James and AD. I don't see how that works when Kawhi is CLEARLY the man. AD is the next best man imo and James third when it comes to offense. AD may even surpass Kawhi if only because of the leg damage that Kawhi has. The fit would be bizarre in my opinion. Even just AD and Kawhi.. I don't see how it fits. AD CANNOT be a third option. If Kyrie joins the Lakers it's pretty much seamless: AD opt.1, Kyrie opt.2, James on cleanup.

I think the Lakers stand to get someone though. I have a feeling that Leonard is going to re-sign in Toronto. I think Kyrie is the 50/50 between Lakers and Brooklyn.

Surprised by Collison's retirement. He had a domestic charge a few years ago no?
