Yes yes and yes. But it's still gross. Don King murdered someone, doesn't mean that I'd then overlook another promoter doing it.

Yeh, that's why I said I don't. But what I'm referencing is that there are fighters on Bellator shows who literally make $500 or less and some people argue that there should be a higher minimum. When doing so, they point at the UFC. But, as I noted, it's a different model where Coker gets really low paid local fighters for these under, under cards and then uses them to sell seats. He did the same in Strikeforce. I'm fine with it, others have cited it as a shitty practice.

Others cant compare the UFC and Bellator pre-preliminary fights.

UFC's get broadcasted to the public and the promotion makes money off the platform they are fighting on.. & Bellators dont. When was the last time anyone even recognized the name of a Bellator fighter on their televised prelim fights?

I have a feeling things are about to change for Bellator. They may well become a viable competitor. Hope they fix that bullshit commission thing

Yeah, but when you got Rampage and Wanderlei announcing your new landmark deal...you know the drill.

Two of the sports biggest prospects?

Also, Coker did run Strikeforce into the ground financially... So while I loved Strikeforce and want Bellator to succeed... I have my doubts. Especially when the payouts seem to be unsustainably high against the viewership numbers.

I think his problem though was making a big shot to try to compete with the UFC. let's not forget he successfully ran strikeforce for 15 years. he doesn't hold the purse strings now, so he can't do that.

What is the most that two people from major orgs have fought each other? I feel like Pitbull and Strauss have fought several times.

I have this mental image of a borderline obese Rampage fighting Sonnen. Probably just the weed.
