This past Sunday I entered our in house jui jitsu tournament. I got my ass kicked every match but it was fun and I definitely would do it again. Here is a pic of my favorite moment from the tourney. I caught my opponent with an in standing arm in guiloteen. He didn't tap and he eventually beat me via Americana after I hip tossed him to the ground and he landed on top. Well here it is.

If I would have fallen back with that choke I could have seriously hurt him. So I decided against it, lol. No major injuries, some bumps and bruises though.

I was about 200ish until I started working at a call center. Oh and the drinking for like 7 years straight didn't help either.

I love that you're training and participated in the tournament. Keep training, and perhaps try a low carb/low sugar diet? It's changed my life. I train a few days a week and do a little bit of weight lifting every morning during the week, but nothing too crazy as far as the weights go. I used to walk around at a pretty soft 230 lbs. I'm 6'1. I've been on the keto diet for a little bit, but I've been doing a general low carb/low sugar/high protein diet since August and am walking around at a fairly lean 155 lbs right now. Cut the refined carbs and sugar, keep training BJJ, and the weight will fall off fast.
