I dnt thinks its true for sports like the NFL or NBA.. The truly greats are great in any era..
Put Jordan, Bird Johnson, Iverson, Shaq in todays NBA, they crush it..
Put Rice, Montana, LT, Walter Payton etc and they are stars in todays NFL..
Truly great players transcend any era..
I don't think that's true, times change.
The greatest hockey player that ever lived wouldn't score 92 goals in a season today IMO.
Rules changed, gear changed, nutrition changed ...etc
My grandfather was a massive defenceman in the Memorial cup in his time at 6'2 220lbs, that's nothing now.
*funny story, my grandmother lost her front teeth watching him play hockey lol*
We have to agree to disagree on that..I think u put a player like Jerry Rice, or Montana in todays NFL, with todays nutrition and training, playing in todays rules..they destroy..
Imagine Magic Johnson in todays NBA..the ultimate 4 position, 2 way player..shit man, Draymond who?
Have to go with you ,never followed them sports.
Tho Ali would have major problems with todays heavyweights.
You posted that to piss me off didn't you?
Good riddance Faber.
Urijah Faber receives UFC Hall of Fame call, becomes its youngest member
I kinda get why he's in there but it just seems too soon. There have got to be more deserving guys out there.
That a boy Urijah!
I guess he’s still working his ground n pound.
Nothing but net.
A real one, good for him.
I always liked Faber. Can't believe Mike Brown had his number like that. Congrats to him
Shouldn't have went for the stupid spinning back elbow.
