Professional Fighters League Announces World’s Only Mixed Martial Arts League
This is legit retarded.
pretty much. trying to treat mma llike the NFL or NBA? Jesus how stupid do you have to be?
Not to mention the reason a league format doesn't exist is because the sport isn't NEARLY deep enough to run like that, and it wouldn't warrant the silly tirades and junior high drama the UFC brings out.
it's not a league, it won't be a league, it can't be a league and gain and audience
So its basically the original Bellator tournament format?
Yeah that didn't work out so well.
I like it in theory, but injuries, money, and seedings just screw the whole thing up.
WSOF has been rebranded into something shittier.... Go figure.
I love the idea, but can't see it actually working in reality.
What was the other promotion that was a league? And had teams and jerseys?
That was the IFL. Where Big Ben made a name for himself I believe.
Well, bravo for trying something different I guess.
Come on guys, it could be a hit.
I liked the IFL.
I was a Renzo Gracie student and have a Pitbulls jersey.
They actually had some really good fighters come through there.
Is this gonna be some sort of bellator tournament- IFL hybrid?
good luck to them.
Regular monthly checks, being able to more accurately forecast a fight due to the season, might this just possibly work out?
I wonder if current fighters had to renegotiate their deals?
I think this can work. Maybe not as idealistically as they laid it out. But if they seed the fighters I think they can build new stars if they have an upset or two along the way.
PFL launches with Jon Fitch vs Brian Foster at Coke Zero 400 at Daytona
I thought something was wrong with ol' Fitch?
It'll always be the firecracker 400 to me
12-fight lineup set for PFL: Everett, including returns of Yushin Okami and Jake Shields
