My daughter is big into anime and there is a shit load of anime on Netflix.
Knights of Sidonia is the best anime on netflix
I liked it better when it was called Attack on Titan
yeah, and Seven Deadly Sins was better as Dragonball Z, right?
KoS and AoT have almost nothing in common besides they have people and monsters in it, which is like 90% of animes
They have almost the exact same premise. A military has grown soft because their gigantic enemy hasn't attacked in 100 years and then they suddenly get attacked.
Not saying it's a bad show, but I started it immediately after watching AoT, so I lost interest right away. Might give it another shot some other time
yeah, and Sailor Moon is just like Dragonball Z because they have good vs evil and superpowers
Knights of Sidonia, the earth blew up and everyones traveling thru space looking for survivors
Attack on Titan, everyone lives in cities within cities as the fences keep large man eating monsters out
KoS, they have one weapon against the monsters who they use to hit their core
AoT, they use blades to cut the back of their necks
Kos, most of the population have become able to photosynthesize to do lack of food
AoT, its a bunch of white people living in Asia with only one asian person
KoS, the goal of the people is to look for survivors and avoid the monsters
AoT, the goal of the people is to run and hide, and seek out the monsters to kill them
KoS, got better with each season
AoT, sucked after the first one and the live action crap ruined it all
two different shows. different plots and backstories. different animation styles. almost nothing similar
Almost nothing similar. Except for their identical premises
I see what youre saying, but that could be a ton of different shows
you could stretch that similarity from Ghost in the Shell to Rage of Bahamut
So glad to hear Bright 2 was just given the go ahead. Really enjoyed that movie.
Might want to look at Larva. My 7 year old nephew likes it. It's 2 larva that live below a sewer grate, with other larva. It's pretty much all fart, puke, poop, pee, and gross out jokes. Nothing too over the line, because it is geared towards kids. It's pretty amusing, if you're into childish gross out humor (who isn't?)
I just finished watching Dave Chappelle's last 2. First was pretty funny. Second was more of like a space with a couple comedic points. I liked them though.
Todd Barry has a great new special, came out same weekend as Chappelle's. Hilarious. He continues to kill me. Always a favorite.
Dear White People
It was great. Binged the season in 2 nights. Not nearly as racist as you would think, lol.
I am watching Manhunt: Unabomber.
imagine if there was a show called dear black people
I think it's a little early to reboot
Did you see the movie that it’s based off of?
Bill Nye- season 2. He’s awkward as fuck sometimes. He plays best with people that can bounce off him and stay focused. Some of the comedians that would appear in segments he had a hard time. This is very clearly not rhearsed. I love all the info though.
72 dangerous animals of South America. I like nature, I hate scary shit, but fascinated what they can do. There is some scary shit down there, and we haven’t even discovered half of the rainforest yet.
that show was fucking great
a little scary how the filmmaker seemed to side with the unabomber a bit
any good ?
Yes. The writing isn't great and the dynamic between characters lacks some subtlety and nuance. But, it's a fascinating story.
