    I agree. Dern was impressive and definitely someone to keep an eye on in the future. Dern got in a little solid ground and pound plus that first armbar she had on Rosas looked bad enough, but that final one she locked in looked even more brutal. That Rosas must be double jointed in her elbows...no idea why she didn't tap out. That is one tough gal with a lot of heart. Those two fought hard as hell.

    Calling it now. Joanna will move to 125. Dern will take 115. Not in the immediate future. It will be something that will happen when it happens. She has shown the ability of a prodigy in jiu-jitsu. However, as we all know, MMA is not simply BJJ. If Dern can connect with the right individual coach that can foster a proficient skillset for both takedowns and striking, she will be something that can be feared. The youth is only wasted on the young who will do nothing with it.
