I guess this isn't as far fetched as I originally thought. According to the UGs official website, this fight is being worked on to headline UFC 200 at 170 pounds.
Why? Diaz put Conor away in the second round on 10 days notice when he was taking tequila shots in Mexico a few weeks before the fight, and now they want to give Diaz a full camp? What happens when he destroys Conor at 200? Bad idea imo.
This shit's retarded. I was down for the fight because it was a last minute saving grace type fight. But this... this is just retarded. Frankie is the only logical matchup. The only reason it wouldn't make sense is if Frankie was unable to make it to 200.
Hahahahahaha I love this shit. Yes. Just keep rematching over and over. Pointless matches. I love it. Reap what y'all sow. Eat that shit up.
Because MMASpot has matchmaking say.
Which one of you fuckers is Joe Silva?
Frankie has been the only logical matchup since December.
In other news, Kurt Cobain sold his gun and the Buffalo Bills retired from Super Bowl attempts
I already tweeted Dana White. You'd do the same unless you just want to complain.
I don't see it as confirmed yet, just that it's in the works. The only thing I can think of is Edgar is still hurt and won't be ready in 4 months. Maybe Aldo is hurt too. Or maybe they just want to make the fight because it was so big the first time. It's kinda dumb to do it again so soon though.
Thats the problem with being on the outside looking in. There can be a lot of other variables we dont know about. That being said, if they make the McGregor / Diaz match up with both Aldo and Edgar being ready and able to fight at UFC 200 then I wont be paying for it, I'll simply download it the next day.
My guess is @Bigshanks.
His vagina is injured, remember?
Chael Sonnen on Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor, and how most of the fight game just doesn't understand
Read that it is happening at Welterweight.... That makes no sense and will give Diaz a clear advantage. Why would it not be at 155?
If they are so butt hurt for a Conor/Diaz rematch make it at 155, with a #1 contendership on the line
Nurg and Ferg tho.
Oh it doesn't make any logical sense rankings wise to make Diaz/Conor at 155 for the next shot at a title. But what is it you say about $$$ influencing UFC matchmaking?
Best place to hide from somebody is a Florida Panthers game. Fuckin ghost town.
