Another middleweight making the jump. A win against Reyes puts him in immediate contention. He'll probably get KTFO.

Really, really thought Luke would fare way better than he did at 205-lbs.

Hoping The Chris makes a better showing; that division is so fucking weak. Seeing him make a sincere run to the top would be cool.

And, uh, why are people so high on Dominick Reyes? Did you guys even see his last outing? That fucker gassed harder than dogshit. Dude is not some imposing monster. More power to him if he beats Chris, but I'm not seeing some big mismatch here.

    Should be fun either way.

Curious to see if Weidman looks faster than molasses against LHWs.

UFC is sacrificing Weidman soul to Reyes in a desperate attempt to make Reyes seem more of an actual contender for Jones.

With this fight being made who is Jones next challenge? I really thought Reyes was next in line. Really curious to see who Jones gets if he fights in November.

There’s a very deep pool of strippers out there. I’m sure he’ll find someone

How was Reyes next in line for Jones?

Reyes only notable UFC wins are OSP and Volkan (both decisions).

Look at light heavyweight. Good God is it shallow. If not Reyes who honestly would be next? Thats why the last 2 challengers were Smith and Santos. Reyes is ranked 4. Jones already beat 2-3. Cormier at 1 is at heavyweight and has Stipe next. Blachowicz is 5 and on a 1 fight win streak over Rockhold. Gus is retired and just lost anyways. Volkan is fighting Latifi in 2 weeks but has 3 straight losses right now. Corey Anderson at 8 is a long shot. Latifi at 9 just lost his last fight and has volkan next saturday. And Glover is at 10.

So yes, Reyes doesn’t have the best of resumes right now, but it is head and shoulders better than anyone else in the top 10 right now not counting Cormier.

Who else, walker has been only beating borderline cans. Really not a lot of options for Jones at 205 right now.

Jan is 5-1 in his last 6. Give him another top 10/top 5 and he should be right in the mix.

Don't worry, there are plenty of middleweights for Jones to continue building his legacy* on

I was talking about him at work yesterday. Said even though he got knocked out 2 fights ago I could see the UFC throwing him in just because the Rockhold win was against a name and won in exciting fashion.

Further highlights why Jones needs to step up to HW and fight Cormier.

My point exactly. Jones insisting on staying at LHW is beyond GSP-esque playing it safe.
