Woodley should have to fight Condit before a title shot.

 

Why?

 

Because the first fight ended on a fluke injury, Condit arguably did enough to beat Lawler and if Condit isn't getting an immediate rematch for that, then the fight that makes sense is to have him fight Woodley again. Woodley has only had two fights in two years since the bullshit ass Condit win and neither was over a top 5 guy so how does that make for him sitting out waiting for a title shot. Fight Condit and if he wins, then he gets Lawler. Condits knee giving out doesn't mean Woodley beat him.

Shit, Woodley hasn't fought in a year and a half.

 

It wasn't bullshit. It was a legitimate win.

 

Legitimate that it's in the record books as a win. Legitimate in that Lawler actually won? Not a chance. Condit won that fight. Take nothing from Robbie. I'm a huge Lawler fan. Condit still won.

But say it was just a close fight and the decision wasn't bullshit. Woodley still hasn't earned a title shot. He and Condit are arguably 1-2 in regards to contenders. They should fight each other if Condit isn't getting a rematch. Woodley has been Stun Gun (almost two years ago) and Kelvin Gastelum (a year and a half ago). How in the fuck is that earning him a title shot? Let him rematch Condit, get that stankin' ass fluke win over Condit off the books and let's see what he's got.

 

If Woodley needs another win, beating a contender that he hasn't already beaten would go a lot farther than beating Condit again.

 

There aren't any right now. They've either just lost or are tied up. He didn't beat Condit. Condit's body failed him in the middle of a fight. Not even remotely the same thing.

 

Woodley beat Condit. Woodley broke Condit's body. It was the force created by Woodley that fucked Condit's knee up. Woodley was also clearly winning up to that point. To suggest anything else is you being a nut hugger.

 

Sitting on your butt for a year and a half doesn't maintain your ranking in my books.

Not a nut hugger in the slightest. Look at Condit's fight tape. He starts slow in fights, and then turns it on throughout the fight. Woodley won the first round and Condit got hurt in the second. Woodley did not break Condit's body. A routine takedown and an awkward twist of the knee ruined Condit's body. Woodley won that fight on a fluke and he hasn't done shit since then to earn a title shot.

 

It was Woodleys takedown that injured Condit. It doesn't matter that it was a one in a thousand occurence. Woodley broke Condit.

 

Condit should be champ!

 

Woodley will never be half the fighter Condit is.
