Haven't seen anything from Ariel or anyone else yet but if this is the case that's a big change to start next year on.

Gotta take anything from ENTimports.com with a grain of salt. They're more clickbait Facebook articles than anything. But the rumor of Goldie leaving has been building since the sale of the UFC. I just do not want to see Jim Rome with Rogan.

Also I never knew Goldie did work with the NFL. Learn something every day.

As badly as I want this to be true, I doubt they would not announce it ahead of time and give him some sort of farewell type of deal.

I think there's a lot of folks that will realize Goldie was pretty good at what he did if/when he's gone.

Was he always the best? Certainly not.
Has he become part of the identity of UFC? Certainly yes, in the same vain that Rogan is. Not having them together will make a big PPV feel a little less special.

He'll be replaced by someone who is virtually identical!

    Sad to see him go

Goldie is a robot. The man has never displayed an ability to lead a broadcast. Over the years Rogan has morphed into the PBP guy anyway since Goldie is such a drone.

Go watch the end of McGregor-Diaz I for a perfect example. Rogan smashes Goldie into dust as the action was playing out. It was comical listening to the actual PBP guy struggle to keep up. Also, almost every single monumental fight-ending moment in the history of the UFC has "AND IT IS ALL OVER! Just. Like. That." attached to it. No originality or ability to react in the moment.

I think it's an opportunity to bring in someone brand new, yet qualified with an identifiable and agreeable voice. Goldberg, like it or not, was the voice of the UFC whether he said goofy stuff, was wrong about MMA techniques from time to time, or repeated his catch phrases. Having the signature voice is important. It's big shoes to fill.

The "right" thing to do is get someone that speaks eboniks.

I usually tend to mute Goldberg and Rogan anyways, but man I'd really hate to see Jim Rome get this spot, he's such an arrogant, vitriolic prick.

Probably would be the best fit. A voice fans are accustomed to, knowledgeable of the sport, knowledgeable of production/commentary and well spoken. That said, I think he's a better replacement for Rogan, not the lead spot.

I'm surprised i haven't heard anyone throwing Jim Ross's name out there. His name comes up regarding commentary a lot. I think he's a bad choice though. Too old, not going to last long. Type-casted for WWE.
