Fedor doesn't expect to last too long in the HW tournament?
why? isn't he matched up first? if so he could easily fight 7 months later, then have time to heal before his next fight in the bracket
am I confusing something?
Fedor vs Mir will be in April as they have to wait out Mir's suspension.
And then if Fedor beats Mir, he would be fighting in round 2 not long after July I would assume.
What I saw is his round one is in April, making this three months later and right in the middle of the tourney. Seems very weird to me too.
Also, I think it's weird that no one is talking about the pacing of this brackets- instead of having all the fights for a round fighting on the same night (like the Strikeforce tourney), it's one tourney fight per card. I think that will kill the enthusiasm of this- it's more like the old Bellator "seasons" that people didn't follow either...
oooohhhh ok. why was i thinking it was in dec or january? i get it now
To further that point, the brackets are not even matched up to allow for one side's semi finals to get ahead if say the other side experiences an injury or delay.
Justin Wren plans to fight more frequently, wants Bellator grand prix alternate spot
member when Rampage ripped on the fella on TUF buy calling him "titties?"
are you inferring that bloated, chubby rampage might himself be titties now?
lol! "When talking shit comes back to bite you on the titties!"
Darren or Darrel Schoonover or something like that.
Rampage VS Sonnen is actually an interesting fight. One of them may actually score a nice win for the first time in a while.
Rampage looks like a fat fuck.
i think he was getting there for quite a while. he always ballooned up after fights. but it got worse and worse and now he's gone full blimp
in his (or any fighters) defense, after spending taht much time in your life focusing on weight, i don't blame any of them for blowing up quick after being gone. I'm sure it's a huge relief.
How do you imagine Sonnen scoring a nice win in this fight?
Or do you just mean quality of opponent?
The only way I see Sonnen winning this fight is by a boring decision.
I think both of them being pretty far past their prime may allow a good chance for one of them to hopefully score a finish. Either Rampage by KO or maybe Sonnen by submission. It would be a good win for two guys who used to be big names. I wouldn't be mad if Chael grinds him out but I hope it doesn't happen that way. Would hate to hear Rampage throw another fit for getting wrestled.
Chael got beat down by Tito though. Lost all faith in him.
I could easily see Rampage gassing if he can't get a great shot in and KO Chael.
If he doesn't get it, chael will be able to grind him out but he could very well submit him he's only had 5 subs his whole career, but i would think of the two he'd come in better cardio.
I dont remember how his cardio was against tito or rashad tho. both of those were 1st round losses, and I don't even remember if I watched his wandi fight
Am I the only one that doesn't find Chael boring? Yes, he's a wrestler but when he takes guys down he doesn't just lay there. He stays busy, lands a lot of shots and always tries to advance position.
doesnt Nyquill sponsor Chael?
