Just when you think Ash can't say anything more Ash-ish, he drops something brilliant. And by brilliant, I mean brilliantly baffoonish hahaha, he does sophmoric man-child perfectly. First two eps have been awesome, love the Pablo subplot and think Lee Majors being cast as Ash's dad is awesome casting.

Bruce Campbell is never going to get the official mainstream recognition for his comedic genius since he's so "genre", but I think he might just have the best comedic delivery on TV today outside of possibly H. Jon Benjamin's reads for "Archer", but voice acting is a different beast I suppose but the Archer and Bob's cast reads and deliveries are tremendous.

The second episode runner with Ash not wanting anybody touching the stuff in his childhood bedroom....only if it's to tidy up, and then calling back to it twice, was a perfect joke and fits the Ash character and his arrested development to a tee. I think the show is absolutely a "you either GET IT or you don't" type, but holy shit the only shows I laugh as loudly at would be Veep, Archer and Silicon Valley and I think I have a stronger affinity for Ash himself.

Full pretentious comedy-douche disclosure though, I personally believe that the best "overall" structured comedy right now is Bob's Burgers, as it perfectly balances genuine story, character, laughs, emotion and music. Plus, they have a full network season order, which is a major task compared to HBO and cable TV.

Holy shit this show keeps getting funnier. The intro montage with Ash and his car this week was amazing. I'm really curious if anyone enjoys this show as much as me, it just feels like such a specific sense of humour show. Then again, I'm one of the few who is in tears during Dewey Cox.

Bruce Campbell is a genius. Trying to get tickets to go meet him at one of the cons. I love the series and army of darknes is one of my all time favorites.

I was kinda cautious going into S3 since there was all that BS drama behind the scenes when it came to the season 2 finale that ended with the showrunner (Craig DiGregorio) bailing and I thought season 2 was pretty perfect until the tonal shift in the final episode, which is what DiGregorio had creative differences over and I agree with his take.

That said, Ash taking over his dad's store in absolute Ash-fashion and all of the skeevy Ash-isms in this premiere were perfect. They're very lucky to have such a great core three leads with great chemistry and while I think they're not where they could've been had they taken DiGregorio's route, Bruce's charm and the comedy are still some of the funniest things you'll see on TV.
